The DA48 Wireless Door Chime is battery powered and does not require electrical wiring. The DA48/RC8360 Wireless Door Chime works with a battery operated sensor at the door, whenever the door is opened it transmits a signal to a ac plug in remote receiver, within 150' feet of the door, to a receiver in a different location, thus announcing entry to your premises.
